Good luck Kobushi Competition Team
Seven athletes will represent Kobushi Dojo Doral at the Orlando Open International Karate Tournament.
Just to let you know that this Saturday, September 16 our team will be competing at the Orlando Open International Karate Tournament.
Our team has been training hard and with a lot of effort for the past months, all of them have been attending Saturday classes in addition to their regular karate classes.
Like many students at Kobushi Dojo Doral, our competition team constantly is working hard to get better despite many obstacles and injuries. These seven students are an example for all in our school by showing discipline, perseverance, and commitment to get better.
I ask everybody in the school for your support and wish the best of luck to our teammates:
Marcus Figueroa, Marco Fonseca, Ricardo Figueroa, Stephanie González, José Ignacio Ramírez, Jacobo Tapia and Jesús Andrés Meneses
The team will be assisted by Shihan Carlos Quintero (head of the Kobushi Team), Sensei Rodney Gonzalez-Chavez, and Senpai Gonzalo Figueroa (coaches).
This team represents all of us and all the things that we teach in our school especially “Do”.
Remember that obtaining medals or not, is not as important as training and preparing to win and the personal growth that occurs during that preparation. In addition, performing at your best and being better than yesterday is the approach and the spirit of a champion. A Kobushi Champion.
On behalf of all in Kobushi Dojo Doral, we wish our Competition Team to have a great time and good luck.
Sensei Alberto
